What an exciting day of racing at Thunder Raceway in Show Low, AZ. Performance Plus Team Racing took to the track Saturday, April 17, 2010. It was a long trek Friday night after a long day of work to Show Low, AZ. After a good nights sleep we were ready to head to the track. #21p Paul Whitehead and #2 Steve Nix were in the capable hands of crew chief, Kal Louks and right hand gal, Amanda Culpepper. Steve's crew chief, Clyde and his right hand gal, Renee were unable to make it this week and were missed, but that's what teamwork is all about. #12 Josh Grady has joined the Performance Plus Racing and brought along his help. Thanks to Jessica, Charles and Sarah for jumping right in and not being afraid to get dirty.
Team Performance Plus brought home three places in a row- #12 Josh Grady took 5th with #21p Paul Whitehead finishing 6th just knocking on his back door and then right behind Paul finishing in 7th was #2 Steve Nix. All in all it was a good day racing.
After a great day - we enjoyed brisket, homemade slaw and beans.....and then loaded up and headed on home!
