With 3 cars representing Performance Plus Racing they were split up in the 2 heat races. In the first heat, #21p driven by Paul Whitehead and the #2 driven by Steve Nix took to the track. Rounding the finished line left the #21p in 4th place and the #2 of Steve Nix taking First in the heat. Congratulations Steve. Heat #2 had the #12 driven by Josh Grady of Farmington, NM. Josh crossed the finish line in 5th place.
To end the evening with the main even. Performance Plus Racing had side by side positions in the second row with #2 driven by Steve Nix of Santa Fe on the inside and #21p driven by Paul Whitehead on the outside. #12 of Josh Grady was situated in the 5th row not far behind the guys. However #21p had a fuel line leak and was drenched in fuel and had to pull off the track before the race started. The #12 driven by Josh Grady was moving up in the pack when jumped the tire of the #52 of Dave Burns and smacked the wall out of turn 4. That said only one car from Team Performance Plus Racing was left to cross the finish line to see the checkered flag. Steve Nix of Santa Fe NM drove the Performance Plus #2 car to a #2 finish. Congratulations Steve!
